Aquarian Charter School 2024 ATHON 

Get ready! Get set! Mark your calendars! Aquarian's Jog-a-thon ("Athon") -- our school's biggest FUNdraiser event of the school year -- returns September 27, 2024! The Aquarian PTO's annual budget is primarily supported by the funds raised from this event.

What is Athon?
Aquarian students collect pledges from family and friends. Pledges may be made on a flat pledge or per lap of running (the loop is ¼ mile) basis. On the day of the event, students will have a designated time to jog 45 minutes during their school day (K/1 students will be allotted 30 minutes). 

Want to volunteer?
You can sign up to be a volunteer at the event! Check back for the volunteer form closer to the event!

How can my business get involved?

We are looking for SPONSORS for this event. If you own a business, know someone who owns a  business or work for a business that would like to sponsor our event please let us know! The money we raise through this event helps support Aquarian staff and students.

What rewards can students earn?
Prizes will be offered for the 2024 Athon, based on the levels below:

Student Awards:

$50 in pledges =  5” Water bottle sticker

$100 in pledges = Straw tumbler

$200 in pledges = $15 Amazon gift card

$300 in pledges = Aquarian Five Houses, One Family shirt - Limited edition

$500 in pledges = $30 Barnes & Nobel gift card

• Our Top Student Fundraiser will win title of "Principal for the Day" and hang with the one and only Ms. Brittany, Aquarian's beloved Principal. Got a student who wants to roam the halls, get on the school radios, visit classrooms, help call a shot or two during the day and have lunch with the coolest of the coolest leaders? THIS is the prize for them!
  
  
• The top 3 student fundraisers will be awarded a $150 gift card to Amazon, Best Buy or Target!

But wait, there's more...

• The PTO will also sponsor TWO (2) CLASS PIZZA PARTIES! That's right! The top primary (K-2) and intermediate (3-6) classes that collectively raise the most money will win a pizza party for their class!

Where does the money go?
Great question! Donations head straight to the Aquarian PTO's general fund and are used to sponsor our 5th and 6th grade camps, STEM explorations, teacher appreciation and support, our schoolwide movie and bowling nights, plus end of year field day/picnic event and more!
